EXCURSIONS ON THE OCCASION OF THE DAY OF STATE SYMBOLS

On the occasion of the Day of State Symbols celebrated in Kazakhstan, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized excursions for residents of the Tselinograd district, Akmola region.

State symbols are the most important attribute of any country, the embodiment of history and culture, sovereignty and independence, unity of the people and government.

"HELLO, SUMMER!" HOLIDAY AT THE FIRST PRESIDENT'S LIBRARY

In the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as part of the traditional art therapy session "Charming World of Art", a holiday "Hello, summer!" was held for children with disabilities.

Dear compatriots! In the first days of summer, we traditionally celebrate the National Symbols Day of Kazakhstan

State symbols - National emblem, Flag, Anthem - are of great sacred significance for any nation, as they represent its sovereignty, reflect the national spirit, form a civic identity and instill pride in their country.

However, we often have a somewhat detached attitude towards state symbols, more associated with officialdom - state institutions, protocol events, official forms, etc.

LITERARY HOUR "ULTTYK POEZIYA PADISHASY"

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a literary hour "Ulttyk poeziya padishasy" dedicated to the 130th anniversary of Magzhan Zhumabayev, one of the founders of Kazakh literature, an outstanding writer, poet, publicist, as well as one of the leaders of the national movement "Alash".

Students and teachers of school gymnasium No. 87 named after Abai Kunanbaev in Astana attended the event. They got acquainted with the life and work of Magzhan Zhumabayev, his significant contribution to Kazakh literature and valuable pedagogical ideas.

INFORMATIVE EXCURSIONS IN THE CAPITAL ON THE EVE OF CHILDREN'S DAY

The school year for students in Kazakhstan lasted longer than usual for the first time this year. After the end of school days, the children plunged into the atmosphere of the long–awaited holiday – the International Children’s Day.

VISITING LECTURE FOR STUDENTS OF THE CAPITAL

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a visiting lecture "The Great Era of the Ascent of the Nation" for L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University students.

During the lesson, the lecturer highlighted the conceptual issues of institutionalization of the state, paying special attention to the development of the political system of Kazakhstan at the beginning of the XX century and the activities of Alash leaders, their role and significance in national history.

DIGEST OF WORLD NEWS ON PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARIES AND FOUNDATIONS (MAY 2023)

The Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site and the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum hosted a series of free, public events over Memorial Day Weekend, from May 27 through May 29, 2023

LECTURE TOUR ON THE EVE OF STATE SYMBOLS DAY OF KAZAKHSTAN

On May 30-31 in the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan excursions-lectures titled "State symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan" were held for students of Lyceum No. 77 and Specialized Lyceum No. 82 "Daryn" in Astana.

Thematic lessons on the eve of State Symbols Day were held in the exhibition hall "Achievements of Independent Kazakhstan" of the Museum of the Library of the First President.

THE LIBRARY OF THE FIRST PRESIDENT HANDED OVER ARCHIVAL DOCUMENTS TO THE MUSEUM AND MEMORIAL COMPLEX "ALZHIR"

On the eve of the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repressions and Famines, 18 documents and over 60 books from the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan and the Archive of the President of Kazakhstan were handed over at the Museum and Memorial Complex "ALZHIR".
