On May 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression and Famine, a solemn ceremony of handing over documents and books of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take place at the ALZHIR Museum and Memorial Complex.

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the launch of the annual literary competition "Abay readings", dedicated to the work of the great Kazakh poet, thinker and founder of Kazakh classical written literature Abai Kunanbayev.

          The purpose of the project "Abay readings": popularization of the literary heritage of Abay, the formation of a culture of reading and literary taste among Kazakhstan's youth.

On May 3, 2023 at 15:00 The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), is holding an international round table "TURKSOY – 30 years: outcomes and prospects", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the founding of TURKSOY.

April 21 at 11.00 am in the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host a round table "Institute of the presidency in the new political realities".

          The event will be attended by scientists, experts, deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, state and public figures, representatives of research institutions, teachers, undergraduates, doctoral students and students of Kazakhstan’s universities.

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the UN Department of Global Communications is hosting an International Roundtable on April 20, 2023, at 11:00 am on International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace.

April 19, 2023 at 15.00 in the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana, A. Bokeykhan str., 1a) will open the exhibition "The Institute of the Presidency in the Context of New Kazakhstan".

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for UNESCO, with the support of the UNESCO Children's Art School in Astana, announce the holding of two International contests of children's drawings: "The Republic of Kazakhstan through the eyes of the children of Bashkortostan" and "The Republic of Bashkortostan through the eyes of the Children of Kazakhstan", dedicated to the Day of the Capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

On April 14 at 10.00 in the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan an open republican educational and practical seminar "Theoretical and methodological features of teaching the game bestemshe" will be held.

The event will be attended by specialists in the field of preschool education, educators, domestic and foreign experts.

The educational-practical seminar was organized jointly with the Department of Education of Astana and is aimed at the development of national values ​​through the revival of the ancient Kazakh intellectual game Bestemshe.
