A visiting lecture on the topic "Digital technologies in archival business: trends and prospects of development" was held at the A.K. Kusainov Eurasian Humanitarian Institute. The event was attended by 1st-year students of the educational program "Kazakh language and literature" of the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute named after A.K. Kusainov.
During the lecture, students got acquainted with the regulatory and methodological regulation of the use of digital technologies in archival business, considered the problems of managing the digital infrastructure of archival activities using modern information and communication technologies, especially in the field of the use of archival documents, improving the scientific reference apparatus.
As an example, the experience of introducing digital technologies into the activities of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was considered.
