A MEETING OF THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL OF THE ELBASY LIBRARY

The agenda of the Academic Council included six issues related to the preparation of publications in the framework of the implementation of research and scientific and educational programs of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy.
The continuation of the multivolume “N. A. Nazarbayev. Selected speeches" (8-9 volumes), consisting of the most significant speeches of Elbasy in the period from 2014 to 2016 and 2017-2021 is being prepared for printing.
For the first time, the catalog "National clothes of the people of Kazakhstan" will present the result of systematization of scientific and reference information on the collection of national clothing items, a total of 28 sets of the museum collection of the Elbasy Library.
The "Collection of scientific works of the employees of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy" is also being prepared for publication. This collection will include works for 2021, reflecting the main directions of research and scientific and educational activities of the Library.
The traditional annual publication "Collection of materials presented at round tables and forums of the Elbasy Library" contains articles dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence, as well as significant dates and events in the history of sovereign Kazakhstan.
Following the discussion and making proposals, the chairman of the Academic Council, director of the Elbasy Library Bakytzhan Temirbolat gave instructions for further work in the preparation of publications.
During the meeting, the Work Plan of the Academic Council for 2022 was approved.
