On March 28 this year, the Academic Council of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy under the chair of the Director of the Library, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov held a regular meeting.
During the meeting, the Academic Council submitted for consideration and approved the Work Plan for 2019. The members of the Academic Council also presented publications prepared by the Library staff. Deputy Chairman of the Academic Council, Deputy Director of the Library of Elbasy, Candidate of Historical Sciences Botagoz Kaipova, Deputy Director of the Library, Candidate of Historical Sciences Kulyaisha Aktayeva, leading researcher of the Department for Social, Humanitarian and Educational Projects, Doctor of Philosophy Gaziz Telebayev made reports on the content of new scientific works.
The scientific and stock collection "N.A. Nazarbayev's Eurasian Initiatives: history, state and prospects" (second edition, supplemented) is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the idea of Eurasian integration and the 5th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union. This is prepared within the project "Kazakhstan at the present stage" of the Elbasy Library scientific program "The First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev: the strategy of public administration and the phenomenon of leadership". The collection examines the history of the Eurasian idea, the state of modern Eurasian integration, which received a new impetus and international political sound in the XXI century thanks to the fateful undertakings of N.A. Nazarbayev. Each section of the book is built on a rich information and source base. The illustrative base, many of which are introduced into scientific circulation for the first time, confirms the ideas and concepts of this publication.
The presented collective monograph "Mangilik El" ideasy: keshe, bugin, erten" is based on the results of the republican scientific conference of the same name, held in the Library of the Elbasy on October 26, 2018. The chapters of the monograph include the history of the idea of "Mangilik El", its reflection in Turkic philosophy, the formation of a national idea, etc. In the context of the idea "Mangilik El", initiated by the First President of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N.A.Nazarbayev, the economic development of Kazakhstan, the legal system, culture and politics were considered. In turn, the importance of this idea was determined from the point of view of informational and ethno pedagogical problems. The monograph is intended for teachers and students of higher educational institutions, researchers, as well as representatives of central and local authorities interested in this topic.
The normative and methodological complex "Excursion activity as a form of public communications in the exposition space" represents the results of the work of the staff of the Library of the Elbasy on improving normative and methodological documents, analyzing the accumulated practical experience in organizing and conducting various genres of excursions on socio-political, historical and memorial topics. The edition is addressed to all categories of workers in the field of culture and museum institutions engaged in information and image, cultural and mass communications in the exhibition environment.
The catalog of the collection of the museum collection of the Library of Elbasy "Harmony of form and drawing" was prepared as part of the activities to popularize the museum collection of the Library of Elbasy and museum studies on the project "Museum Collection" of the research program "Museum Collection". The publication for the first time presents information about 87 storage units of the collection of souvenirs from the museum collection of the Library of the Elbasy, grouped and combined into thematic groups. The illustrated catalog has been prepared to help museum and library workers, researchers and educators, as well as a wide range of readers.
The scientific and informational manual "Kazakhstan madeniyetin zhangyrtudagi N.A. Nazarbaevtyn roli" was prepared within the framework of the project "Kazakhstan at the present stage" of the Library of Elbasy scientific program "The First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev: the strategy of public administration and the phenomenon of leadership". It is based on the materials of the electronic archive, historical photographs and documents, as well as exhibits of the Library of Elbasy, revealing the role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the modernization of culture of Kazakhstan. It is noteworthy that this study was the result of studying the contribution of Elbasy to the implementation of the state program "Madeni Mura" and the branding of the regional history of Kazakhstan according to his initiative.
Having considered the works proposed for publication, the members of the Academic Council made constructive comments and suggestions. After the made changes the publications were recommended for printing.
