THE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL OF THE ELBASSY LIBRARY: RESULTS OF THE WORK FOR THE YEAR

The Scientific Council of the Elbassy library was held on December 26. The deputy director of the Elbassy library, doctor of political sciences, professor Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov summarizing the work for the year, noted that great organizational work was carried out, which allowed possible to bring scientific researches to a qualitatively new level in the framework of the projects being developed.

The Scientific Council of the Library, as a collegial scientific-advisory and expert-analytical structure, carries out the development of conceptual, strategic documents regulating the key activities of the Elbassy library. At the meeting were discussed and approved: The concept of exposition and exhibition activities of the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan – Elbassy, The concept of the museum program «Museum collection», The concept of the excursion project «First». The deputy director, candidate of historical sciences Botagoz Kaipova noted that for the short period of the Scientific Council activity were developed the basic internal documents, which reflect the key directions of the Elbassy library.

– On many activity directions of the Elbassy library were developed normative documents of a conceptual character, defining the principles, methods, expected results, taking into account the further deepening of the specialization of the Elbassy library, – said Botagoz Muttakhidenovna.

The lead research officer of the Scientific-applied researches service Layla Omarova presented a report on the results of a survey of focus groups of listeners of the Scientific-educational program of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy for 2017.

– On the whole presented information indicates that, the audience positively reacts to the lessons. In comparison with 2016, in 2017, the perception of the audience of visual materials improved, which indicates the expansion of their application during the lessons. Interest to the lessons increased from 74% in 2016 to 78% in 2017, –noted in her speech Layla Aripovna.

After discussing and proposing, the members of the Scientific Council are recommended to publish: «Сборник научных трудов Библиотеки Первого Президента Республики Казахстан – Елбасы» (Collection of scientific works of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy), «Выдающиеся исторические личности Казахстана» (Outstanding historical figures of Kazakhstan) chrestomathy, catalogs of museum collections «Вечное сияние серебра» (Eternal sunshine of silver), «Мантии: академические и ученые степени и звания Н.А. Назарбаева» (Mantles: N.A. Nazarbayev’s academic degrees and titles), scientific brochure «Межконфессиональное согласие как фактор обеспечения стабильности государства» (Inter-confessional harmony as a factor of ensuring the stability of the state), Collection of materials of the International scientific-practical conference «Первый Президент Республики Казахстан – Елбасы: стратегия государственного управления и феномен лидерства» (The First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy: the strategy of public administration and the phenomenon of leadership).

The lead research officer of the Scientific-applied researches service, doctor of political sciences, professor Layla Ivatova had proposed the publication of the annual Collection of scientific works of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy.

– The collection of scientific papers will contain the works, articles, speeches of the Library's employees for the current year related with the activities of the Library in promoting the ideas and initiatives of the Head of State, as well as current problems of the domestic and foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, – noted Layla Murzalinovna.

For the current year at the meetings of the Scientific Council of the Elbassy library approved: reports of program implementation – 2, concepts and regulations – 5; are recommended for publication: methodical books – 5, collections of works, catalogs – 14.
