MEETING OF THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL OF THE LIBRARY OF ELBASSY

Today, a meeting of the Academic Council was held in the Library of Elbassy. In his welcoming speech, Director of the Library of Elbassy, Chairman of the Academic Council Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov congratulated the participants on the upcoming New Year and stressed that even despite the difficulties that arose this year due to the pandemic, the Library actively continued its research activities.

Kunslu Isinova, head of the Service for Social, Humanitarian and Educational Projects, was one of the first to report on the preparation for the release of the educational and methodological manual "State symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

"The theme of the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan at first glance seems to be known to everyone. However, the practice of educational seminars of the Library of Elbassy shows that schoolchildren and students have a superficial knowledge of this topic. For example, the national emblem contains more than forty elements, but listeners, as a rule, can name only a few of them. Meanwhile, behind each of the elements lies an idea, a whole history. That is why there was a need to prepare this manual", K.Isinova said.

The leading researcher of the Library Nazira Musina told about the preparation of the annual collection of scientific works of the employees of the Library of Elbassy. According to her, the edition includes thirty articles devoted to topical issues of independence of Kazakhstan, analysis of the activities of initiatives, the role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy N. A. Nazarbayev in the formation and development of an independent state.  The articles fully and comprehensively reflect the research and educational activities of the Library of Elbassy.
"The peculiarity of this collection is that not only scientific figures of the Library with an academic degree can place their works in it, but also other employees, including young specialists. The collection turned out to be interesting and capacious, I am sure that it will be in great demand in the scientific community", said Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov, Chairman of the Academic Council.
A collection of materials from round tables and forums of the Library of Elbassy is also ready for publication. In particular, it includes materials of the online round table dedicated to State Symbols Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was held in the Library of the Elbassy on June 4 this year with the participation of leaders of youth organizations of the republic. In addition, the collection includes materials of an online round table dedicated to the closing of VolunteerYear in Kazakhstan. 
The leading expert of the Library of Elbassy Gaini Serikbayeva reported on the publication "Award to the President - gratitude to the people". The current edition of the book-album is an expanded edition, the previous ones were published in 2002 and 2007. In the album, through the prism of N. A. Nazarbayev's awards, one can trace the stages of the ascent of a unique personality to the heights of world diplomatic and political thought and the progressive development of the country, which has become an active participant in important geopolitical processes over the years of independence.       Also, the catalog "Collection of public awards of N.A. Nazarbayev" and the catalog of collections of fine art, which includes works of famous Kazakhstan artists, are being prepared for release.
