«HISTORICAL CHOICE. NEW KAZAKHSTAN» EXHIBITION WAS OPENED

Today the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host the «Historical choice. New Kazakhstan» exhibition dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This exhibition is a continuation of the «Historical Choice» scientific and exposition project. It reflects the achievements of sovereign Kazakhstan through photographs and documents, exhibits of the museum fund.

"This exhibition is traditionally held annually on the eve of Independence Day. But the current exhibition is special, as follows from the title itself. Now Kazakhstan is entering a new stage of its development. The elections held on November 20 of this year, following which Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was elected President of Kazakhstan, confirmed the historical choice of our people, who supported the course of reforms for the construction of New Kazakhstan", - said the director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Temirbolat. 

The uniqueness of the exhibition lies in the fact that for the first time documents and photographs received from the press service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the General Secretariat of the CICA are presented to the attention of the public.

"Today we see that Kazakhstan continues its path of development. I am sure that our historical choice will open up even greater prospects for building a New Fair Kazakhstan", - noted Deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sauytbek Abdrakhmanov.

The exhibition consists of three sections:

 I. The «Milestones of Independence» section presents the historical chronicle of the acquisition of sovereignty and independence of Kazakhstan. The historical periodization of this and all subsequent sections of the exhibition is based on the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev’s article “Independence above all”.

II. The content of the «New Kazakhstan: the Path of Renewal and Modernization» section is revealed through the prism of the activities of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the period from 2019 to 2022 in the following directions: «State of the Nation Addresses by President – Guidelines for the Development of the Country», «New Kazakhstan: the Path of Renewal and Modernization», «Prosperity of the Region – Prosperity of the Country», «Production Development is the Basis of the Economy Formation», «Village is the Cradle of the Country», «Bright Meetings», «Spiritual Renaissance», «Healthy Country», «Intellectual Nation», «Youth is the Future of the Country», «A Valiant Army is a Strong Shield of the People», «Significant Meetings», «Critical Moments», «High Awards for Valiant Labour», «Kazakhstan’s International Authority».

III. The «Choice of the People» section presents current data on the elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on June 9, 2019 and November 20, 2022.
