On September 24 this year, a session of the Academic Council of the Library of Elbasy was held. At the regular session, publications prepared as part of the implementation of research and scientific and educational programs were presented.
The collection of memoirs "Biz biletin Elbasy" is the result of many years of creative search and patient scientific research by leading researchers of the Library of Elbasy. The fourth book features the memoirs of 23 famous figures of Kazakhstan: A. Bizhanov, B. Aitimova, A. Korazbayev, T. Mansurov, D. Kydyrali, B. Saparbayev, A. Tasbolatov, E. Khasangaliyev, etc.
In total, the four volumes of the collection contain the memoirs of 103 colleagues of Elbasy - famous public and state figures who made a worthy contribution to the formation of independent Kazakhstan.
Diverse creative work allowed the authors of the publication to successfully synthesize materials collected as a result of scientific search expeditions to the small homeland of the First President in Kaskelen, Shamalgan, Ushkonyr and in the cities of labor activity: Almaty, Temirtau, Karaganda, Dneprodzerzhinsk, etc. It is important that 110 photo documents collected as a result of scientific search work were transferred to the Elbasy Library archives.
A collection of museum lessons and an album "Baby museologists. Museum Alphabet Guide for Preschool Children" were prepared as part of the implementation of scientific and educational projects. As noted by the members of the Academic Council, the compilations are of high quality and fulfill their direct function - the introduction of a large number of methodological materials to popularize the collection of the Library of Elbasy. According to the participants of the meeting, the publications are of great importance for the dissemination and application in the practice of other museums, archives and libraries, cultural and educational centers, general education institutions.
The Chair of the Academic Council, Director of the Library of Elbasy, Candidate of Political Sciences Bakytzhan Temirbolat said:
- The importance and necessity of the work accomplished is beyond doubt. A good, well-developed material is presented. It would make sense to prepare multimedia versions of albums.
