PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK “NURSULTAN NAZARBAYEV. BIOGRAPHY" IN AZERBAIJANIAN LANGUAGE

On November 27 at 11.00, the Elbasy Library will host the presentation of the book “Nursultan Nazarbayev. Biography" in Azerbaijani.

The event will be attended by Mahmud Kasymbekov - Head of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ali Gasanov - Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on social and political issues, Darkhan Kydyrali - President of the International Turkic Academy.

Among the invited guests of the presentation are representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in the Republic of Kazakhstan, heads of the academies of sciences of Bashkortostan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tatarstan, Turkey, domestic and foreign scientists and public figures.

The project manager and the author of the book is the Head of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Acting Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Makhmud Kasymbekov, who has been working directly under the Head of State for many years and professionally studying the institution of presidency.

The book is the first attempt at an official historical and biographical study of the life and work of N.A. Nazarbayev. It traces his path from a simple rural youth to a national leader. The main attention is paid to the political biography of Elbasy, which is given in a historical retrospective of the dramatic and controversial events and processes that accompanied the development of Kazakhstan at the turn of the 20th-21st centuries. Prepared on the basis of a vast array of archival materials, the biography is a significant documentary source on the modern history of Kazakhstan.In it, along with significant photo-illustrative material, copies of personal documents are authentically reproduced for the first time, which allows the reader to more fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the events described.

The translation from Russian into Azerbaijani was carried out by the winner of the Higher Media Prize of Azerbaijan and the media prize named after Ismail Gasprinsky of the International Turkic Academy, journalist-publicist Aida Eyvazova. Among the consultants are the presidents of the International Turkic Academy, Professor Darkhan Kydyrali and Doctor of Philosophy, deputy of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly of Azerbaijan) Javanshir Feyziyev. Editor - Veli Akperov. The preface to the book in Azerbaijani was written by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Social and Political Affairs, Head of the Department of the Presidential Administration, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Ali Hasanov. Emphasizing the friendly and fraternal nature of relations between the two countries with a similar historical fate, A. Hasanov notes the undeniable role of leaders in the life of our peoples.

“The great Kazakh poet Olzhas Suleimenov in his memoirs called the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev Master with a capital letter. We can say the same about another aksakal of the Turkic world - respected Nursultan Nazarbayev, whom Kazakhstanis proudly call Elbasy,” writes A. Gasanov.

According to him, the result of the wise policy of Nursultan Nazarbayev is the fact that today stability reigns in Kazakhstan, there is a strong peace between the peoples and nationalities inhabiting it, a society with multicultural values ​​has been formed. Representatives of more than 130 peoples, including Azerbaijanis, coexist in this country in conditions of civil peace and national solidarity.

Book “Nursultan Nazarbayev. Biography” is a great gift for Azerbaijanis living in Kazakhstan in terms of preserving their native language,” the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan noted.

Since its release in 2012, the biographical book about the President of Kazakhstan has attracted interest not only at home, but also abroad. In addition to the Kazakh and Russian languages, it was translated and published in English, Arabic, Hungarian, German, Serbian and French, to which Azeri has now been added.
