OPENING OF THE PHOTO EXHIBITION "NESVIZH PALACE AND PARK COMPLEX - WORLD CULTURE PROPERTY"

November 21, 2017, at 17.00 in the building of the Museum of the Library of Elbasy, the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "The Palace and Park Complex of Nesvizh - the property of world culture" will take place. The exhibition is organized jointly with the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the Library's international project "Dialogue Through Culture". This event opens a series of events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Belarus. The main context of the exhibition is the state policy for the preservation and promotion of the historical and cultural heritage of the two countries.

The materials of the exhibition were provided by the State Institution "National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Nesvizh". Nesvizh Castle has a rich history. The castle was rebuilt many times and as a result acquired the appearance of a palace, combining the features of many architectural styles: Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Classicism, Neo-Gothic, Modernism. At the end of the 19th century, one of the largest landscape parks in Europe was founded near the Nesvizh Castle.

In 1993, the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve was created in Nesvizh, which included the castle. In 2005, the Nesvizh Palace and Park Complex was included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. This is the most beautiful palace and park ensemble of Belarus, which attracts many tourists.

The photo exhibition "Palace and park complex Nesvizh - a heritage of world culture" will allow residents and guests of Astana to learn more about the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus, its architectural and artistic traditions.

The exhibition "Palace and park complex Nesvizh - a heritage of world culture" will last until December 4, 2017.
