On November 21, 2011 in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the framework of realization of the scientific program «The First President and further development of independent Kazakhstan» was held the international scientific-practical conference «The way of independence: history, realities and perspectives», dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The organizers of the conference were the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, People Democratic Party «Nur Otan», Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In the work of the international scientific-practical conference took part the representatives of the state bodies, scientific and museum community, students from the Russian Federation, USA, Ukraine and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the open and fruitful discussion the participants of the international scientific-practical conference «The way of independence: history, realities and perspectives» have discussed actual issues of gaining of independence and building of the new statehood, the role of strategic initiatives of the Head of the State – the Leader of the Nation N. A. Nazarbayev in the development of independent Kazakhstan; perspectives and directions of the social-economic, legal and political modernization of the state; scientific-research and cultural-educational potential of the museums of historic profile at the present stage.
The participants of the section «The historical role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev in formation and development of independent state» found the increased actuality of the work for keeping of the historical continuity of generations, education and upbringing of patriotism and citizenship on the examples and facts of life of individuals. At the present time the interest to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is rather high and continues to rise. «Owing to the role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and his activity, we retained stability, tolerance and the openness of our society, which allows us to live quiet», - emphasized the director of institute of diplomacy of the Academy of state management under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of political sciences, the academician, the professor and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary T.S. Suleimenov.
“Carrying out in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the international scientific-practical conference is an indicator of the active participation of the museums and museum community at whole in studying and actualization of the important questions of the political direction”, – have noted the participants of the section “Kazakhstan and the modern world: actual questions of socio-political, historical-cultural and economic development”.
“For 20 years of independence were adopted the laws, which fixed the achieved results of the foreign policy of the country and formed the basis for the next successful steps of Kazakhstan in the sphere of diplomacy, foreign trade, various international relations, which promoted the implementation of the norms of the international legal documents at the whole territory of Kazakhstan, facilitated for realizing of the peaceful foreign policy course of the country, assisted in raising of the positive image of Kazakhstan state on the international arena and allowed Kazakhstan successfully participate in the work of the prestigious international organizations, as the participant so as the chairman”, - noticed the doctor of jurisprudence, the professor, the member of the Central election committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan M. A. Sarsembayev.
At the section «The role of the museums of the historical profile in the formation of the socio-cultural space» the participants of the conference underlined increasing of the role and the place of the museums as cultural-educational and scientific-educational centers in the affair of keeping of the historical heritage, development of spiritual culture in the conditions of globalization. «Constant growth of popularity of the museums in the society reflects increase of cultural and general educational level of the people, increase of interest to history, historical monuments», – underlined K.S.Absalyamova, the deputy director of Pavlodar regional folk museum under the name of G.N.Potanin.
At the final plenary session the participants of the conference noticed not only high organization level of carrying out and substantiality of the action, but also professionalism of the employees of the Museum. «The museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – is the unique organization, it would be desirable that it becomes the leading center of studying of contemporary history of independent Kazakhstan», – expressed the general opinion of the participants of the conference the chairman of the Society of historians and political scientists of the South Kazakhstan area, the doctor of historical sciences, the professor A.I. Ismailov.
The participants adopted the recommendations following the results of the international scientific-practical conference.
