DEDICATED TO THE DAY OF INDEPENDENCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN THE WEEK OF CINEMA «ТҰҢҒЫШ-ПЕРВЫЙ-FIRST» WILL HELD AT THE ELBASY LIBRARY

From December 12 to December 15, 2017, at the Library will take place film screenings in the framework of the traditional week of cinema «ТҰҢҒЫШ-ПЕРВЫЙ-FIRST». On these days, the audience will be presented the biopic «The Way of the Leader».

Every day from 2:00 p.m. at the Library will be conducted excursions for students of the capital's colleges, as well as employees of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Committee of the Criminal Execution System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, after of which at 3 p.m. in the cinema hall of the Library will take place film screenings.

On December 12, will held showing of the film «The Sky of My Childhood» directed by Rustem Abdrashev about the childhood of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev, based on his literary memoirs «Without the right and left», «Epicenter of Peace», «Kazakhstan – the center of Eurasia».

On December 13, will showing the second and third episodes of the biopic «The Way of the Leader» – «Fire River» and «Iron Mountain», shows the student years of Nursultan Nazarbayev, the most important stages of his personality formation during the important events in the history of the country, when in the steppes was built the future Kazakhstan industry.

The film «Breaking the vicious circle» will showing on December 14. The fourth episode of the biopic «The Way of the Leader» shows the 70s of the last century. At that time N.A. Nazarbayev was secretary of the Party Committee of the Karaganda Metallurgical Combine. The future leader of Kazakhstan not only offered solutions to the problem, but innovative approaches, which usually causes resentment among obdurate leaders, who used to work in the old style. On the final day of the week of cinema will be shown the film «So the Stars Aligned» of the Russian director Sergeн Snezhkin, presented in 2016. The film is the final part of the film biopic «The Way of the Leader». According to the plot of the film, the President gives an interview to a foreign correspondent who turns into Nursultan Nazarbayev's story about life, fate and the difficult way of gaining Kazakhstan's independence. The President introduces the writer with local customs, while talking about the most difficult periods of his life, beginning with his appointment in 1984 as Chairman of the Council of Ministers until being elected as President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 1991.
